Scott Cheung Joins Credit Europe Bank as Chief Risk Officer

Credit Europe Bank has appointed Scott Cheung as chief risk officer (CRO). The appointment, which has been approved by De Nederlandsche Bank (Dutch Central Bank), fits in the bank’s strategy to further strengthen its sound risk management framework.

Cheung will be responsible for both financial and non-financial risk management group-wide. He accomplished the post-graduate education Registeraccount at the University of Amsterdam and worked six years for Ernst & Young in Amsterdam and Hong Kong before joining Credit Europe Bank in 2002 as head of the internal audit department in Amsterdam. In 2006, he was appointed as head of group audit, responsible for co-ordinating the group’s internal audit activities in the 11 countries where the bank is located.
