Fission Energy Appoints Gregory Downey as CFO

Fission Energy, a Canada-based resource company, has appointed Gregory Downey as chief financial officer (CFO). He replaces Andrew Adamson, who has stepped down to pursue other opportunities.

Downey obtained his certified management accountant (CMA) designation in 1991 and is a member of the Certified Management Accountants of British Columbia. He also holds a diploma in Business Administration from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology.

Downey joins Fission with over 25 years of diverse financial experience in the oil and gas, manufacturing, construction and the public sectors. He has provided business advisory and financial accounting services to many medium and large size organisations.
