Adventist Midwest Health Appoints Ronald Wehtje as CFO
Adventist Midwest Health has appointed Ronald Wehtje as regional senior vice president (SVP)/chief financial officer (CFO). He brings to the organisation a wealth of experience in healthcare leadership at the executive level and a proven track record of solid financial stewardship.
A certified public accountant (CPA), Wehtje comes to this job from Adventist Care Centres, where he served as executive vice president/CFO since 2004. There he oversaw a number of important business expansions, a complete legal reorganisation of the division, and several operational improvement initiatives.
Aa a key member of the executive team, the CFO assumes a strategic role in the overall management of Adventist Midwest Health, which includes Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital, Adventist GlenOaks Hospital, Adventist Hinsdale Hospital, and Adventist La Grange Memorial Hospital. Wehtje will have primary day-to-day responsibility for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial-related activities of the organisation.
Wehtje replaces Janice Hagensicker, who is now the CFO for the Tampa Bay Market of Florida Hospital/University Community Hospital, part of Adventist Health System.
