HSBC Appoints Vinay Mendonca as Head of Global Traditional Trade Product

HSBC trade and supply chain has appointed Vinay Mendonca as head of global traditional trade product. Based out of Hong Kong, Mendonca joins from HSBC India, where he most recently served as head of product management for HSBC trade and supply chain.

In this newly created global position, Mendonca will be responsible for setting strategic direction for the traditional trade product portfolio. His responsibilities will include driving the design and development of new products and services as well as management of the existing market leading HSBC trade franchise.

Mendonca brings a wealth of financial experience to his new role. In addition to his previous role, he has also held positions in HSBC India’s global payments and cash management team as senior vice president, product management, as well as a range of roles with companies including Infosys Technologies, BNP Paribas and Reliance Industries.
