Voice Commerce Becomes Full Member of The Payments Council

Voice Commerce, a financial services group, has become a full member of The Payments Council. Voice Commerce looks forward to contributing towards The National Payments Plan that was launched by The Payments Council in 2008 and sets out a 10-year vision for UK payments together with the practical steps needed to put the vision into practice.

Nick Ogden, chief executive officer (CEO) of Voice Commerce Group, said: “The payments landscape has evolved dramatically in the last 10 years and the influence of the web and mobile cannot be underestimated. With online fraud continuing to rise the industry needs to collaborate in order to support businesses and protect consumers. We are thrilled to be joining The Payments Council and working with them, and their community, to future-proof the UK payments industry, promote growth and embrace innovation.”
