Lloyds Bank Corporate Markets Hires Four for Global FIs Team
Lloyds Bank Corporate Markets has appointed four new joiners to its banks team, as part of a commitment to broadening and deepening its relationships with new and existing clients in 2011. Alex Wilson has been appointed managing director and head of banks for northern Europe. He is a senior banker who has worked within the business for over 10 years in a variety of client-facing roles. Wilson brings experience of the international wholesale markets having worked in London, Madrid, New York and Los Angeles during his career to date. He reports to Mandeep Ahluwalia, managing director and head of global banks.
Sofia Larsen and Anders Jensen have joined the global financial institutions team as relationship managers in newly created positions. Larsen has spent 10 years covering financial institutions in roles at WestLB, HSBC and most recently NAB. Originally from Sweden, she will be dedicated to Lloyds Bank Corporate Markets relationships with banks in Benelux and Switzerland. Jensen joined in October 2010 after more than 10 years covering German-speaking financial institutions for BNP Paribas Fortis in Frankfurt and Saxo Bank in Denmark.
Philippe Wenden has also been appointed to the team to strengthen its relationships with French bank clients. He previously worked with BNP Paribas in a variety of debt capital markets, securitisation and financial institution relationship roles. All three report to Wilson.
