Nokia Siemens Hires Dr Marco Schroeter as CFO
Nokia Siemens Networks has hired Dr Marco Schroeter as chief financial officer (CFO). He replaces Luca Maestri, who will join Xerox as CFO.
Schroeter, who will join the company on 14 March 2011, has 20 years of management and financial experience. He was previously CFO at Infineon Technologies in Munich, where he also served as human resources (HR) officer. Prior to joining Infineon in 2008, Schröter served as CFO at Schenker. Earlier in his career he held leadership positions in planning and finance at Stinnes.
Schroeter, who will be based in Munich, has an MBA from the University of Munster and a doctoral degree in business administration from Saarland University.
