Snap Fitness Hires Wes Winnekins as CFO

Snap Fitness, a franchisor of express fitness centres, has hired Wes Winnekins as chief financial officer (CFO). Winnekins, who most recently served as CFO for Health Fitness Corporation for the past 10 years, will oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the company.

Over a career that spans 25 years, Winnekins spent three years in the commercial health club industry providing finance and management leadership at two multi-purpose health clubs and eight years working for start-up and emerging growth companies in the software and internet markets. As the CFO for Health Fitness, a provider of corporate fitness and health management services, he played an integral part in growing annual revenue from US$26m to US$83m, raising capital to finance two strategic acquisitions and managing the company’s sale to a strategic buyer.
