SkyWire Media Hires Curt Mayer as CFO

SkyWire Media, a US digital and mobile marketing company, has appointed Curt Mayer as executive vice president (EVP) and chief financial officer (CFO) in a continued effort to assist in managing SkyWire Media’s rapid revenue growth and acquisitions. He will be responsible for the strategic management of accounting, finance, treasury, acquisitions, and investor relations.

Prior to joining SkyWire, Mayer served as corporate vice president of finance for Station Casinos since 2007, where he played key roles in Station’s US$5.7bn going private transaction in 2007, US$410m debt financing for Aliante Station in 2007 and US$250m land loan in 2008.

From 2002 until 2007, Mayer served as CFO for Black Gaming, a public gaming company located in Mesquite, Nevada, where he was integral in raising approximately US$180m and taking the company public in 2004. Prior to Black Gaming, Mayer spent 10 years with Arthur Andersen serving public companies in various industries from gaming to technology.
