Sword FircoSoft Organises Users Meeting for Middle East and Africa

Sword FircoSoft has organised its first FircoSoft users network meeting in Beirut, Lebanon, which will be held on 24 March 2011. Through alliances with local partners, such as Allied Engineering Group, Misys, eVision and Sterci, Sword FircoSoft has developed its presence in the Middle East and Africa area during the past few years.

Ensuring full compliance with local and international anti-terrorist financing and anti-money laundering (AML) regulations has become a must for banks and financial institutions in the region, thus the need to equip themselves with watch list filtering solutions have become crucial.

“In response to an increase in the number of users in the region and due to a large customer demand, Sword FircoSoft decided to organise its first FircoSoft users network meeting in Beirut, Lebanon, in addition to the similar meetings we already organise in New York, London, Hong Kong, Singapore and Paris,” said Christophe Destephen, regional alliance manager at FircoSoft. “It will take place right after the SWIFT Regional Conference. This event will enable Sword FircoSoft product users to get updates about our product strategy, to hear from key partners and other speakers about business and compliance topics and share best practices on Sword FircoSoft products and compliance matters with other customers.”
