Howard Hughes Corporation Names Andrew Richardson as CFO
The Howard Hughes Corporation, which owns, manages and develops commercial, residential and mixed-use real estate, has appointed Andrew Richardson as chief financial officer (CFO), effective 28 March 2011. Richardson will report directly to David Weinreb, chief executive officer (CEO). Grant Herlitz, the company’s president, has been serving as interim CFO.
Since 2006, Richardson has served as the CFO and treasurer of NorthStar Realty Finance, a commercial real estate finance company focused on investment in real estate loans, fixed income securities and net-leased real estate properties. Prior to joining NorthStar, he was an executive vice president (EVP) with iStar Financial.
Richardson also served in various capacities at Salomon Smith Barney, including vice president in the real estate investment banking group focused on mergers and acquisitions (M&As) and raising capital for public and private companies. Early in his career, he was also a certified public accountant (CPA) with Ernst & Young.
