GTC Licenses LC Monitor Trade Services Update Database to Banks

GlobalTrade Corporation (GTC) will start licensing its letter of credit (LC) monitor/trade services update (TSU) database to banks for use on bank’s trade finance portals. Since 1999 the website has been providing information about the practical aspects of payment instruments in international trade.

Over 700 articles have been published on trade finance and trade services topics by editors in over 30 countries who handle documentary credits, standby LCs, bank guarantees, documentary collections, and the surrounding legal issues on a daily basis. All this knowledge has been organised into a searchable database. The database is now available to corporate clients through their respective banks.
