Axia NetMedia Appoints Alan Hartslief as CFO

Axia NetMedia (Axia) has hired Alan Hartslief as chief financial officer (CFO). Based in Calgary, Canada, Hartslief has international experience with US and European capital markets, as well as a track record in establishing and maintaining high-quality internal controls, transparent financial reporting, business planning and optimising global processes. He succeeds Peter McKeown, who is retiring and will continue to consult with Axia through the transition.

Hartslief is a chartered accountant (CA), who previously was CFO for Terra Nova Royalty (formerly KHD Humboldt Wedag), a global company that operated in the industrial plant engineering and equipment and mineral royalty sectors. Prior to that he was with Ciba Specialty Chemicals for 10 years, where he held several positions with increasing executive responsibilities including CFO – NAFTA region.
