Karmasphere Hires Daniel Moskowitz as CFO

Karmasphere, a Big Data Analytics company, has hired technology industry veteran Daniel Moskowitz as its chief financial officer (CFO). Moskowitz brings 20 years of finance and operations experience to the company, from both Fortune 100 companies and start-ups.

Most recently, Moskowitz was vice president of finance and operations at Zend Technologies, a provider of software and services for developing, deploying and managing business-critical PHP applications. At Zend, he was instrumental in building that company’s finance, IT, operations and legal infrastructure.

Previously, Moskowitz served in senior finance roles at Intel, Intuit, and BMC Software, where he managed a variety of corporate and operational finance functions. His responsibilities included integration and growth of key acquisitions, providing analyses that drove strategic decisions and managing worldwide budgets of up to US$1bn.

Moskowitz has a BA in Business and Economics from Tel Aviv University and an MBA from the University of Southern California.
