Heartland Payment Systems Hires Maria Rueda as CFO

Heartland Payment Systems has hired Maria Rueda as chief financial officer (CFO). Rueda most recently served as CFO at ING Direct, a direct bank and largest thrift company in the US. Previously, she was the CFO and financial and operations principal for Bloomberg Tradebook, through Geller & Company, a financial outsourcing firm, and CFO for the North American operations of Electra Partners, a UK-based private equity firm.

Robert Baldwin, Jr, previously president and CFO, will take on broader responsibilities for strategy and operations as president of the company and work closely with Robert Carr, chairman and chief executive officer (CEO), in order to improve the execution of Heartland’s strategic and operational priorities.
