Chalice Diamond Appoints Larry Johnson as CFO and Corporate Secretary

Chalice Diamond has appointed Larry Johnson as chief financial officer (CFO) and corporate secretary, replacing CFO Alan Campbell and corporate secretary Diana Mark, who have resigned.

Johnson graduated from the University of British Columbia (UBC) with a BSc (Geology) and became a chartered accountant (CA) in 1975. He has been involved in mineral exploration as a field geologist and project manager across North America for diamonds and both precious and base metals including Charles E Fipke’s Dia Met Minerals, discoverer of the Ekati Diamond Mine in Canada. He has been employed as a CFO for several junior resource companies, including Fronteer Gold, which Newmont Mining is to acquire for about C$2.3bn.
