Jason Tan Heads Up Client Management for HSBC Asia-Pacific

HSBC global payments and cash management has appointed Jason Tan as regional head of client management for Asia-Pacific. In his new role, Tan will be responsible for the continued development of HSBC’s client management platform, working closely with his regional team to deliver a consistent client experience. He will report directly to John Laurens, head of global payments and cash management, Asia-Pacific, and functionally to Marcus Treacher, global head of client experience for global payments and cash management.

Prior to this new role, Tan spent three years as head of global payments and cash management in Malaysia, where he led the aggressive growth of the Malaysian franchise, establishing a talented team of individuals from within the bank and across the industry. His previous roles include head of product management for global payments and cash management in Thailand and head of sales for global payments and cash management in Malaysia.
