ESCO Promotes Ray Verlinich to CFO

ESCO, a global manufacturer of wear and replacement products for the mining, infrastructure and aerospace industries, has promoted Ray Verlinich to vice president of finance and chief financial officer (CFO). He previously held the position of vice president and corporate controller.

Former CFO Gene Huey will retire at the end of 2011 after more than 40 years with the company. As part of ESCO’s succession plan, Huey will remain an executive officer and treasurer during this time to provide advisory support to the team.

Verlinich began his career with ESCO in 1996 as director, financial accounting and Oracle Financial Systems. Prior to ESCO, Verlinich spent more than 10 years with PPG Industries, during which he held increasing financial and operations positions with international management responsibilities. He has a Bachelor’s of Arts in Economics from Washington & Jefferson College and an MBA in finance, marketing and accounting from the University of Chicago.
