MCR to Appoint Two New Partners Following Promotions

MCR, a corporate restructuring and recovery specialist, has appointed two new partners to the business following the promotion of Matt Ingram and Ben Wiles. The promotions, effective 1 July 2011, take the total number of partners to 15 across the company’s three offices – London, Manchester and Birmingham.

Ingram joined MCR as a director in September following the opening of the firm’s Birmingham office. Prior to joining MCR, he was based in the Birmingham office of a ‘Big 4’ accountancy firm where he had spent the last nine years as a senior member of the restructuring team. His new role will be to develop the MCR’s business throughout the West Midlands region.

Wiles, originally from Australia, is currently based in the London office, although he will split his time between the London and Birmingham offices. He joined MCR in 2007 with over 10 years previous experience in business recovery. Over the past year he worked on secondment at one of the UK’s leading commercial banks, giving MCR a valuable resource as it continues to grow and develop its relationships with the leading commercial banking groups.
