Deutsche Card Services Receives PCI Security Certificate for Eighth Time

Deutsche Card Services has received the Payment Card Industry (PCI) Security certificate eight times in a row. The successful certification proves that the security is in line with the strict requirements of the PCI Data Security Standard (PCI DSS), which is the benchmark for all organisations that process, store or transmit card information – including merchants.

“Reliability and a sense of responsibility are key characteristics of Deutsche Bank Group. Compliance with the PCI security standards is an obvious consequence of this approach. It is no coincidence that our acquiring platform was the first in Europe to receive a PCI Security certificate,” said Jens Mahlke, chairman of the management board of Deutsche Card Services.
