Standard Chartered Bank Appoints Michele Wee as Global Head of E-sales

Standard Chartered Bank has appointed Michele Wee as global head of electronic sales (e-sales). Based in Singapore, she is responsible for leading the global e-sales team which is responsible for setting and executing the bank’s e-strategy across the fixed income, currencies and commodities businesses for all clients in financial markets.

In this newly created role, Wee reports jointly to Zeeshan Khan, head of e-commerce, and to Adrian Walkling, global head of financial institutions sales. She joins Standard Chartered from Deutsche Bank where she was most recently head of e-foreign exchange (FX) and e-financial institution (FI) sales for Asia. She has over 17 years of experience in FX trading and e-platform sales and marketing.
