EASI Signs Up to Ariba Discovery Business Matching Service
The European Alliance for Solutions and Innovation (EASI) has signed up to Ariba Discovery, an online business matching service that instantly connects buyers and sellers around the world. EASI is an alliance of small to medium privately-owned businesses that provide commercial, technical and infrastructional building management services.
The alliance first learned of Ariba Discovery when it was invited by a large commercial real estate management company to participate in an online auction that it was conducting through Ariba. Since joining Ariba Discovery, EASI has landed nearly US$1m in new business with a Fortune 500 retailer.
“As a startup company, finding suitable opportunities with organisations abroad – particularly in the US – remains a challenge,” said Markus Hilmes, operating manager, EASI. “Through Ariba Discovery, we have not only been able to get exposure to these companies, but build strong, long-lasting relationships with them so that we can provide additional services.”
