Legal-E Selects Earthport to Facilitate Payments to Temporary Workers

Legal-E, a provider of outsourced payroll services, has selected Earthport to support payments to temporary employees across the UK. By working in conjunction with Earthport, Legal-E’s customers will benefit from a reliable, secure and specialist payments solution, which has been live since May 2011.

Legal-E, part of the Legitas Group of companies, aids temporary workers and the recruitment agencies that place them in employment, to maximise earnings by offsetting legitimate expenses against gross pay. They currently work with over 70 agencies, processing over 17,000 payments a week, across the UK.

Experiencing rapid growth since 2008, Legal-E took the decision to use specialist payments provider, Earthport, to deliver improved and guaranteed service levels to their growing customer base.

David Allen, chief executive officer (CEO), Legitas, said: “We provide a specialised and valued service to temporary workers across the UK, many of whom rely heavily on their weekly pay, where even the slightest delay or inaccuracy can have a significant impact on their lives. The decision to use Earthport was ultimately a strategic one that benefits every stakeholder within our organisation. Our customers receive guaranteed payments every week, and we are able to offer guaranteed levels of service and concentrate on growing our business.”
