Berkadia Hires Randy Jenson as President and CFO
Berkadia, a commercial real estate financial services company, has hired Randy Jenson as president and chief financial officer (CFO). Jenson is based in Berkadia’s Horsham office and reports to chief executive officer (CEO) Hugh Frater. He will be overseeing the finance and accounting, treasury, process improvement and risk divisions, as well as playing an important role in the company’s emrger and acquisition (M&A) activities.
Previously, Jenson spent nine years with Ranch Capital in the role of co-founder and president. In that capacity he closed and managed over US$2bn in investments with special situation companies, assets and real estate projects. Jenson also worked at Hawaiian Holdings as the CFO and currently serves on the board of directors for Hawaiian Holdings and Hawaiian Airlines.
Prior to that, he held the role of president and CEO of banking and lending operations and other responsibilities for Leucadia National for more than five years. He is a graduate of the University of Utah and the Harvard University Graduate School of Business.
