Sealed Air, a global manufacturer of a wide range of packaging and performance-based materials and equipment systems, has announced that chief financial officer (CFO) David Kelsey is leaving the company on 12 August 2011 to pursue an opportunity at a privately held company in the Midwest.

Tod Christie, who has served as the company’s treasurer and a corporate officer since 1999, has been appointed to the additional role of interim CFO. The company has initiated a search to fill the CFO position on a permanent basis.

Christie has been a member of Sealed Air’s finance department since 1984. He was appointed assistant treasurer in 1988 and treasurer in 1999. Prior to Sealed Air, Christie worked at Arthur Andersen & Co. He holds a BSc in Commerce from the University of Virginia, is a certified treasury professional (CTP) and an associate in Risk Management.
