Aurora Networks Hires Craig McCollam as CFO
Aurora Networks, an optical transport solutions provider for cable operators, has named Craig McCollam as chief financial officer (CFO). McCollam will play an instrumental role in spearheading the company’s financial strategy and initiatives, while assisting the company in identifying growth opportunities, including potential future acquisitions.
McCollam, who has 28 years of professional financial experience, most recently served 18 years at Dionex in various financial roles, with the last 12 years as the CFO. During his time at Dionex, a global manufacturing company, he successfully managed the corporation resulting in the sale of the company to a third party for industry-high multiples. McCollam has expertise in multiple disciplines, including financial and strategic planning, corporate tax, risk management, treasury, cost accounting, human resources, IT, investor relations and legal affairs.
In addition, McCollam’s experience includes serving as an assistant controller at Ensco, where his duties ranged from managing all corporate accounting, financial analysis, and strategic planning functions. Prior to Ensco, McCollam served at Ernst & Young.
McCollam holds a BS in Accounting from University of Northern Iowa.
