Newegg Appoints Robert Bellack as CFO
Newegg has appointed Robert Bellack as chief financial officer (CFO). Bellack is a senior financial executive with more than 25 years experience in the digital media, ecommerce and publishing spaces.
Bellack has strong experience managing organisations through dramatic change, which has included growing and nurturing start-ups and driving change in mature organisations. He is a founder of Zetabid.com, and most recently served as the company’s chief executive officer (CEO). He also served as CFO and senior vice president (SVP) of LA Times Media Group, the largest business unit of Tribune Company/Los Angeles Times Media Group, with over US$1bn in revenue and 3,500 employees.
Previously Bellack was a founder and CFO/SVP of Classified Ventures, an online classified advertising publisher serving automotive and real estate markets which produced websites such as Cars.com, Apartments.com, and HomeScape. Before that, he served as CFO and VP of administration and operations of Compton’s New Media, a developer and publisher of consumer educational software with a 500+ title catalogue with distribution through major retail and ecommerce.
Bellack has an MBA in finance, marketing and international business from Northwestern University, JL Kellogg Graduate School of Management, as well as a BSc in accountancy from DePaul University, in addition to being a certified public accountant (CPA) in Illinois. He will be reporting directly to SC Lee, the CEO of Newegg North America.
