Belden's CFO Gray Benoist to Retire; Henk Derksen Named as Successor

Belden, a global provider of signal transmission solutions for mission-critical applications, has announced that Gray Benoist, senior vice president (SVP), finance and chief financial officer (CFO), will retire, effective 1 January 2012. HPC ‘Henk’ Derksen will be Benoist’s successor.

Benoist joined Belden in August 2006 after having spent 28 years in various senior financial and general management roles across Motorola’s portfolio of businesses.

Derksen served as treasurer and vice president, financial planning and analysis from January 2010 until July 2011. He is currently vice president, corporate finance and has responsibility for investor relations, corporate accounting and information technology.

A certified public accountant (CPA), Derksen worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) and Berk Accountants in the Netherlands. He served in various financial management roles in Belden’s Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) headquarters from 2000 until January 2010. His last position was vice president, finance and shared services. Derksen holds a Masters degree in business and economics from Katholieke Universtiteit Brabant in the Netherlands.
