Kelly Parsons Joins Availity as CFO

Health information network Availity has named Kelly Parsons as chief financial officer (CFO), senior vice president (SVP) and corporate secretary, replacing Margaret Gomez, who is retiring after more than 10 years with the company. Parsons brings more than 20 years’ experience in finance leadership, with significant experience overseeing the financial performance of companies during inflection points of growth and expansion.

Most recently, Parsons was CFO for Mosaic Sales Solutions, a marketing and merchandising company based in Dallas, Texas. Prior to that, she was CFO for Accenture HR Services, and previously had held finance leadership roles with Perot Systems. She began her career at Arthur Andersen & Co and after attaining her certified public accountant (CPA) certification, Parsons spent 10 years with PepsiCo in various financial roles in both domestic and international locations.

Parsons earned a Masters of Business Administration at Bellarmine College and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting at Texas A&M University. She has served on several boards of directors in health and wellness organisations, including YMCA of Metropolitan Dallas, and St Anthony Community Centre in Dallas.
