Olympus Media Appoints Clay Herron as CFO

Olympus Media, a large US traditional out-of-home company, has appointed Clay Herron as chief financial officer (CFO). Herron’s focus will be to continue to improve the company’s revenue cycle and drive the company’s business initiatives. With more than 25 years of experience in operations, financial and leadership roles across companies of varying size and life-cycle needs, his expertise will support the company’s dynamic growth initiative to further extend its national leadership position in the out-of-home market space.

Herron most recently served as executive director of TEOCO. Prior to joining TEOCO, he spent 10 years as a hands-on CFO with extensive experience in high-growth companies, international operations, turnarounds, and merger and acquisitions (M&As). His international experience includes an expatriate assignment as CFO of a subsidiary public company. While building his strong background in global financial management, Herron’s work has focused on installing financial reporting and internal controls, driving various aspects of M&A transactions, and improving operating results.

Herron holds an MBA from Owen Graduate School of Management from Vanderbilt University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Vanderbilt. He also holds a certificate as a chartered financial analyst (CFA).
