CalciTech Appoints Ash Mehta as CFO for European Operations

CalciTech, a recycling company, has appointed Ash Mehta as chief financial officer (CFO) of CalciTech Synthetic Minerals Europe (CSME), its wholly-owned European operating subsidiary. CSME has an independent UK board of directors and senior management with extensive commercial, industrial and financial experience, and will operate independently within Europe.

Mehta joins with an excellent knowledge of the public equity markets in the City of London having been on the board of a number of full-list and AIM-quoted companies. He is currently a non-executive director of Northbridge Industrials Services, having previously been finance director.

He began his career with KMPG where he qualified as a chartered accountant (CA). Following qualification, he worked in commercial finance roles for Eli Lilly and Parexel International; since then he has held a number of CFO positions in public companies.
