SumTotal Appoints Mark Johnson as CFO
SumTotal Systems, a provider of human capital management (HCM) solutions, has appointed technology industry veteran Mark Johnson as chief financial officer (CFO). In this role, Johnson will oversee the functions of worldwide accounting, finance, legal, human resources, and information technology.
Johnson brings a wealth of financial and operational experience from some the world’s leading technology companies across the software, services and hardware sectors. Before joining SumTotal, Johnson was vice president and business unit CFO at BMC Software, a business service management solution company. As the principal finance executive for the unit, he was responsible for all financial aspects of an US$800m business and helping it achieve its short- and long-term operating objectives.
Prior to BMC, Johnson held a variety of financial management positions with the Tivoli Software division of IBM Corporation, Dell and Sterling Commerce.
