Altis Semiconductor Appoints Vincent Marcel as CFO

Altis Semiconductor, the European-based foundry, has appointed Vincent Marcel as chief financial officer (CFO). In this role, Marcel takes over responsibility for the company’s overall financial management, and analysis, strategy and planning functions.

Prior to joining Altis Semiconductor, Marcel held from 1998 to 2010 various executive positions within the Valeo Group, a global automotive parts manufacturer. Since 2001, he has been a member of the group’s management board, as group vice president, finances and strategic operations. From 1995 to 1998, Marcel was director at Banexi (investment bank of BNP Paribas) in charge of the telecommunications and IT sectors. He started his career in 1985 at France Telecom Group, holding various positions in the US and Japan.

Marcel holds Master’s degrees in engineering from the Ecole Polytechnique (Paris) and the Ecole Nationale Superieure des Telecommunications (Paris), and has received an MBA from INSEAD.
