Lumenis Names Ophir Yakovian as CFO
Lumenis, a large medical laser company, has named Ophir Yakovian as chief financial officer (CFO), effective 1 February 2012. Yakovian previously held the position of vice president of finance at Verint Systems, a provider of actionable intelligence solutions and value-added services. Prior to joining Verint, he served as corporate controller at Metalink. Yakovian has a BA in Accounting and Economics and an MA in Business Economics from Bar Ilan University, and is a certified public accountant (CPA).
Yakovian will replace Aviram Steinhart, who has left Lumenis in order to join Ceragon Networks, a telecommunications company, as its new CFO.
