Sun Products Appoints Al Drewes as CFO

Sun Products has hired Al Drewes as executive vice president (EVP) and chief financial officer (CFO). Drewes will be responsible for all aspects of financial planning and accounting, tax, audit, treasury as well as IT, strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions for the company.

In his most recent position as senior vice president (SVP) and CFO at Pepsi Bottling Group, a US$13bn Fortune 200 company, Drewes was responsible for the treasury, investor relations, tax, planning, accounting, and mergers and acquisitions functions. During his tenure, he drove shareholder value by leading financial strategy, guiding multiple acquisitions in the US and abroad, and leading the successful sale of PBG to PepsiCo while also ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Drewes started his career with PepsiCo in 1982 and held progressively more senior finance and operating leadership roles, including several financial and international executive positions. He received his MBA in Finance at Columbia University Graduate School of Business and his BSc, Electrical Engineering at University of Massachusetts.
