Sodexo North America Names Olivier Poirot as CFO

Sodexo has appointed Olivier Poirot as senior vice president (SVP) and chief financial officer (CFO). In his new role, Poirot leads the finance and risk management functions supporting Sodexo’s business in North America.

Poirot brings a wealth of experience to this role having joined Sodexo in October 2011 from Accor North America, where he served as chief executive officer (CEO) for the company’s operations in the US, Canada and Mexico. As CEO for Accor North America, Poirot oversaw a portfolio that included more than 1,100 Sofitel, Novotel, Studio 6, Motel 6 and Ibis properties. Before assuming the role of CEO in 2007, Poirot served as CFO of Accor North America for four years and was responsible for concluding the company’s US$1.3bn sale of Red Roof Inn.

Poirot succeeds Debbie White, who has become CEO for Sodexo UK and Ireland. Poirot is a graduate of Ecole Superieure de Commerce de La Rochelle where he studied Finance and Administration.
