Barclays Expands Global Trade Team in Middle East
Barclays has appointed Kersi Patel as head of trade and working capital, Middle East. He will be responsible for building the trade and working capital product and sales organisation in the region aimed at growing Barclays market share in these businesses.
Patel joins Barclays from HSBC Bank Middle East, where he was the head of trade and supply chain for Middle East and north Africa. Previously, he has held several senior roles across trade and transactional banking in HSBC, Deutsche Bank and Emirates Bank.
