Wolters Kluwer Appoints Dharpan Koul as Head of Professional Services in India

Wolters Kluwer Financial Services, a provider of compliance and risk management solutions for the financial services industry, has hired Dharpan Koul as head of professional services, India, within its FRSGlobal business. Koul, who has more than 13 years of experience in the risk management and IT industry, is based in Bangalore and will be heading up a dedicated professional services team to help ensure banks in the region have risk management resources and solutions tailored to their specific needs.

Previously, Koul was a vice president at core banking and business intelligence provider iCreate Software where he led their Africa operations. He also managed their global customer delivery and contributed to their product development strategy among other responsibilities. Prior to that role, he worked at Oracle Financial Services, where he held posts as delivery manager, project manager and team leader across multiple countries within Asia, Europe and Africa. During his time at Oracle, Dharpan was responsible for multiple projects ranging from banking software implementation to turnkey project development.
