BPC Banking Technologies Develops Aeroflot's Payment Gateway

BPC Banking Technologies (BPC), a provider of open system electronic payment (e-payment) solutions, has developed and implemented a payment gateway for Aeroflot. Built on SmartVista technology the gateway has consolidated all sales channels for Aeroflot ticket sales into a single integrated interface.

Prior to the implementation of the payment gateway, Aeroflot was managing a costly and disparate range of interfaces across a wide range of ticket sales channels. BPC created a single switch that enabled Aeroflot to manage its interfaces to numerous bank acquirers and partners as well as connections to payment systems. The solution was launched with an initial capability allowing Aeroflot’s network of ticket agents and its customers to purchase tickets across multiple channels, including ATMs, kiosks, payment terminals, internet, mobile, call-centre, and interactive voice response (IVR).

The BPC solution includes dispute resolution and wide range of operational reports that can be configured to meet Aeroflot’s day to day requirements. The payment gateway was fully integrated with Aeroflot’s core IT systems and interfaces with the booking centre to ensure data integrity and to raise the efficiency of transaction processing. The solution is PCI Data Security Standard (PSI-DSS) certified to provide industry standard security.
