Deutsche Bank Appoints Elwin Karyadi and Le-Nhat Phuong Hong as GTB Heads in Asia

Deutsche Bank has appointed Elwin Karyadi as head of global transaction banking (GTB) in Indonesia and Le-Nhat Phuong Hong as head of GTB in Vietnam.

Karyadi joined Deutsche Bank in 2005 and is a veteran banker with more than 20 years of experience in the financial markets industry. Prior to his new appointment, he served as head of direct securities services (DSS) for Indonesia. Karyadi will assume dual responsibilities as head of GTB and head of DSS, Indonesia. As GTB head, he will report to Lisa Robins, regional head of GTB, Asia-Pacific, and locally to Suresh Narang, chief country officer for Indonesia. In his role as head of DSS for Indonesia, Karyadi continues to report to Mrugank Paranjape, regional head of DSS, Asia-Pacific.

Le assumes her new role in addition to her current role as head of trade finance and cash management corporates (TF/CMC), Vietnam. Le joined Deutsche Bank in 2008 as head of cash management corporates and subsequently assumed additional responsibilities as the head of TF/CMC for Vietnam. She has 14 years of transaction banking experience. As head of GTB Vietnam, Le reports to Robins and Tri Pham, chief country officer for Vietnam. In her capacity as TF/CMC head of Vietnam, Le continues to report to Kaushik Shaparia, TF/CMC head for Asia-Pacific.
