Madix Selects AvantGard Receivables to Reduce Exposure to Bad Debt

Madix, a large store fixture manufacturer in North America, has selected SunGard’s AvantGard Receivables (GETPAID) on a software-as-a-service (SaaS) basis to help automate collections and dispute management, as well as reporting to help reduce exposure to possible bad debt expense and improve dispute resolutions.

Automation will help Madix gain a single view into cash, reduce time spent on manual tasks, and drive improved collections strategies. The company will also be able to establish standard routing, escalation, and approval processes around disputes to help reduce cycle times. Additionally, it will be able to track performance, perform cash forecasting and gain visibility into root-cause analysis with the solution’s detailed reporting and analysis tools.

Melanie Leeper, credit manager, Madix, said: “We selected SunGard’s AvantGard to help centralise data into a single location and implement workflow to help us improve collector performance, reduce dispute cycle time and easily track, measure, and report on our key performance indicators without having to add headcount. Eliminating the need to allocate internal IT resources was also a key factor in our decision to deploy the SaaS delivery model.”
