UniCredit Offers E-banking App for Corporate Customers
Specifically for its corporate customers, UniCredit in Germany has developed its ‘UC E-banking app’ for iPhone and iPad. As an addition to the current electronic banking (e-banking) access, this app makes corporate customers even more mobile and independent. For example, it enables corporate customers to retrieve their SWIFT account statements and view them in detail. Moreover, the app makes it possible to retrieve and view detailed advice notices, keeping corporate customers up-to-date on imminent account transactions at all times.
Furthermore, by means of divided electronic signature (e-signature), the entrepreneurs can authorise all manner of payment transactions like credits and debits while on the go. In addition, the stored digital signature, or key, can be exported from its existing e-banking products and does not have to be set up again. By using the ‘bank log’ function, the customer may call up the important details of individual payments, such as the current status of a particular payment file.
The app supports the Electronic Banking Internet Communication Standard (EBICS), which safeguards the transfer of payment processing data via the Internet. The ‘extra news’, containing important bank information, completes the features on offer.
“To date, it was often difficult for corporate customers to gain an overview of their liquidity, track the status of various payments or authorise important transactions while on the go. Using the new e-banking app, UniCredit’s corporate customers in Germany are now able to do all this simply, conveniently and safely via a mobile device. In our range of products aimed at business customers, this is a new component that we plan to expand significantly in the future,” said Ernst Ohmayer, global head of cash management and e-banking, UniCredit.
