Reply Names Financial Management Veteran David White as CFO
Reply, a marketplace for the acquisition of locally-targeted consumer traffic, has appointed David White as chief financial officer (CFO). White’s financial management career spans more than 25 years in a range of industries, including renewable energy, mobile technology, biotechnology and telecommunications. He has a proven track record of building and leading skilled teams, both in venture capital-backed start-ups and in Fortune 500 companies. The industry veteran has had a leading role in raising more than US$3bn of capital in public and private markets.
Prior to joining Reply, White was CFO of SolarCity, a national leader in clean energy services. Before that, he served at Hands-On Mobile, a premier mobile technology company. Following a stint as CFO, he was appointed chief executive officer (CEO) and propelled a company transformation that expanded Hands-On Mobile’s mobile entertainment business.
White’s extensive financial management career also includes serving as vice president of finance for Chiron, a global biotechnology firm acquired by Novartis International; vice president of finance for Cable & Wireless, a global telecommunications company; and vice president of finance and chief accounting officer (CAO) at Digital Island, a data centre hosting and internet content delivery company acquired by Cable & Wireless.
Previous CFO Sam Veazey will remain with the company in the role of executive vice president (EVP), finance. Veazey will continue to support the overall finance-related efforts at Reply.
