Sandvik Group Appoints Emil Nilsson as CFO

Sandvik Group has appointed Emil Nilsson as executive vice president (EVP) and chief financial officer (CFO) of and member of group executive management. The exact starting date will be defined over the coming months. He succeeds Ola Salmén, who will leave Sandvik for other opportunities. Salmén will stay with Sandvik until year-end to ensure a good and smooth transition.

Nilsson holds a BSc in Business Administration and Economics degree from Stockholm University. Currently he is head of customer unit central Europe at Ericsson based in Vienna, Austria. His most recent experiences include leading positions such as CFO/chief operating officer (COO) of Ericsson North America and CFO of Ericsson Brazil.
