UTi Worldwide Names Richard Rodick as EVP and CFO

UTi Worldwide, an international, non-asset-based supply chain services and solutions company, has appointed Richard Rodick as executive vice president (EVP), finance and chief financial officer (CFO). He will report to Eric Kirchner, chief executive officer (CEO). Rodick is expected to assume his new position on 1 October 2012.

Rodick brings a broad-based finance background to UTi, including roles within the logistics industry. Since 2007, he has served as senior vice president (SVP), finance, of Broadridge Financial Solutions, a provider of technology-based outsourcing solutions to the financial services industry. Here Rodick created the treasury and risk management divisions for this newly-formed company that was spun off from ADP. In addition, he was responsible for investor relations.

Previously, Rodick served in three separate operating CFO roles in three different business units for ADP, where he was responsible for financial reporting, financial planning, information systems, product costing, acquisition valuation and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance.

Prior to joining ADP, Rodick worked for 15 years at Ryder System, in multiple roles of increasing responsibility that included corporate controller, operations finance and internal audit. He gained broad international experience and led restructuring initiatives, system implementations and upgrades, and acquisitions and divestitures for key business units within Ryder.

Rodick will succeed Lawrence Samuels. Samuels is expected to assist Rodick during a transition period.

Rodick is a certified public accountant (CPA) and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). He holds a BSc and an MBA in Finance from Florida State University.
