GATX Corporation Appoints Eric Harkness as Treasurer

GATX Corporation named Eric Harkness as vice president, treasurer and chief risk officer (CRO).

Previously, he was vice president and CRO at the Chicago-based railcar leasing company. Harkness began his career with GATX in 2007 as a senior investment risk officer. Prior to joining GATX, he held a variety of roles within the financial services industry.

Harkness received his Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Business from Indiana University and his Masters of Business Administration from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder and a member of the Investment Analysts Society of Chicago.
