MasterCard Appoints Juan Rajlin as Corporate Treasurer
MasterCard Worldwide said that Juan Rajlin will join MasterCard as corporate treasurers on 6 February. He will succeed Sachin Mehra, who is assuming the role of business financial officer for MasterCard’s North America region.
Most recently, Rajlin served as assistant treasurer for General Motors (GM), where he was responsible for global treasury activities including treasury operations, capital markets and capital planning. In addition, Rajlin oversaw GM’s regional treasury centres covering Europe, South America and Asia and was focused on mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and other strategic initiatives in the area of automotive financing. Rajlin joined GM in 2002, taking on positions of increased responsibility. Prior to joining GM, he worked in treasury at Royal Dutch Shell.
Rajlin holds an MBA from Columbia Business School in New York and an undergraduate degree in Economics from Torcuato Di Tella University in Argentina.
