Phillips Edison Appoints John Caulfield as Treasurer

US retail real estate group Phillips Edison & Company has appointed John Caulfield to the position of vice president (VP), treasurer and said that in his new role, he will provide hands-on leadership and experience in financial planning and analysis, cash management and treasury, budgeting and forecasting, and investor relations.

Caulfield has over 12 years of industry experience that includes previous positions with CyrusOne, Cincinnati Bell and KPMG. Prior to joining the Cincinnati, Ohio-based company, he served as treasurer and VP of investor relations at CyrusOne, where he played key roles in the initial public offering of CyrusOne, the establishment of its capital structure and treasury function, and creation, positioning, and strategy of messaging and communications with investors and research analysts.

At Cincinnati Bell, Caulfield held various positions in treasury, finance and accounting, including assistant treasurer and director of investor relations.

Caulfield is a certified public accountant and has received a bachelor’s degree in accounting and an MBA from Xavier University. He also serves as treasurer and a member of the board of trustees for Ohio Valley Voices.
