Ingenico Opens Branch in Casablanca
Payments technology developer Ingenico has announced the opening of a new branch office in Casablanca, Morocco, which will aim to cover the African market.
The new office is part of Ingenico’s geographic expansion strategy of optimising its level of service on each continent. Ingenico will use the new branch to answer needs of all types of customers, such as banks, microfinance institutions, retailers, ID and gov, vertical market and payment service providers (PSPs). The African branch office will be headed by Rachid Oulad Akdim, managing director.

Akdim added that the Moroccan office will “play the role of gateway to the rest of Africa,” and will enable Ingenico to refine its knowledge of the numerous local markets.
