Orbium Partners with NetGuardians for Risk Mitigation

Business and IT consulting group Orbium, which focuses on the financial services sector, has formed a worldwide partnership with Swiss software company NetGuardians to bring a cross-platform operational risk mitigation software solution to banks and wealth managers.

The NetGuardians NG Screener software uses intelligent behavioural analysis to continuously monitor business lines and IT activities. The partners said that many financial institutions (FIs) face the challenge of growing needs for internal control and real-time continuous auditing to promote compliance with new regulatory requirements for operational risk. The solution provided is highly customisable, and provides in-depth visibility to both security and audit functions.

Orbium brings its large client network, deep IT security expertise, and its extended consulting capabilities to the partnership, and will deliver the NG Screener solution across its regional offices.

“Our clients recognise NG Screener’s flexibility to smoothly adapt to any banking platform,” said Joël Winteregg, chief executive (CEO), NetGuardians. “This is perfectly in keeping with our offer including ready-to-integrate packaged versions for all major core banking platforms.”

“Orbium are relied on to deliver highly complex technology projects incorporating leading IT security frameworks,” said Olivier Schneider, partner at Orbium. “We are delighted to add another best-in-class offering, in addition to our proprietary software products, to help our clients benefit from the most comprehensive technology in the market.”
